Release of Facilities Inventory 1.1 and Data Collections ETL 1.3

To release Facilities Inventory 1.1 and Data Collections ETL 1.3, which includes the following:

The prerequisite for the Facilities Inventory 1.1 release is:

CERTIFICATION

The Data Collections ETL 1.3 release is being certified at the following:

  • Admin Common 9.3.17
    • Accounts Receivable 9.3.10
    • Financial Aid 9.3.14.1
    • General 9.3.12
    • Student 9.3.14
  • Georgia Enhancements 9.9.2 & 8.64

ITS and one institution have tested and certified the Data Collections ETL 1.3 release for the prerequisites at Oracle 12.2 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.x.

BEST PRACTICE

Non hosted Institutions are strongly encouraged to apply this software to your test environment before applying it to production. Institutions should comprehensively test using local business processes to ensure that the functionality meets regulatory requirements.


TECHNICAL NOTE

Technical Instructions for File Validation (CAMPUS_ODS_FIDM_ETL_INSTALL.sql): After downloading the file (CAMPUS_ODS_FIDM_ETL_INSTALL.sql), you may run the following checksum command to validate the file is the same as the one located in the directory above:

  1. Download the package (CAMPUS_ODS_FIDM_ETL_INSTALL.sql) file to a local server.

  2. Run the following command, to make sure the checksum info is the same as what ITS posted with the package: $ md5sum CAMPUS_ODS_FIDM_ETL_INSTALL.sql

  3. Verify the checksum info you get from the above command. It should be the same as below: 3106d6b2a0fdb27334c79b03c9f4fcc6 CAMPUS_ODS_FIDM_ETL_INSTALL.sql

TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILE VALIDATION (datacollectionsetl13.tar.gz): After downloading the file (datacollectionsetl13.tar.gz), you may run the following checksum command to validate the file is the same as the one located in the directory above:

  1. Download the package (datacollectionsetl13.tar.gz) file to a local server.

  2. Run the following command, replacing to make sure the checksum info is the same as it was when ITS posted the package: $md5sum datacollectionsetl13.tar.gz

  3. Verify the checksum info you get from the above command. It should be the same as below: 9d3f3757d41dbf5871468d1b8b88b60a datacollectionsetl13.tar.gz

MANAGED SERVICES TECHNICAL NOTE: If you are a hosted institution in production, please open a ticket with ITS as soon as possible to request the software to be applied to your TEST environment. After successful testing in TEST, a new ticket should be submitted to request that software to be applied to your PROD environment to begin official reporting.
