Overview

Atlanta Metropolitan State College (AMSC), an access institution of the University System of Georgia, educates students from diverse backgrounds by providing affordable, career-focused bachelor’s and associate degree programs. The College offers student-centered instruction, civic/community engagement, and quality services that lead to the success of its inter-generational 21st century graduates.

  • With an enrollment of 1,800, the student body is composed of both traditional and non-traditional students. The college attracts students from a number of international countries, adding to the rich ethnic and cultural atmosphere of the campus.

  • AMSC offers programs that are flexible enough for the adult learner and the traditional college student via on-campus, online, day and evening classes. It also has a Dual Enrollment Program, Early College, Science and Technology programs, a Digital Media and Entertainment program, and a Teacher Education collaborative with other USG institutions.

  • The college offers more than 20 programs and certificates in the fields of business, technology and computer science, humanities and fine arts, natural sciences and social sciences. Atlanta Metropolitan State College awards the associate of art, associate of science and bachelor’s degrees.
