The Educator Preparation and Policy?(EPP)?Team coordinates system-wide policy and research initiatives with the educator preparation programs at USG institutions and other?Georgia?education agencies that are members of the Alliance of Education Agency Heads (AEAH).?The Team is committed to ensuring the preparation of educators for the learning opportunities of the 21st?century,?including college and career readiness for all students. The EPP Team works with?the Georgia Department of Education and the Georgia Professional Standards Commission to support educator?preparation programs as they establish and maintain?collaborative relationships through the P-20 Collaboratives, which are focused on continuous school improvement. ?In addition, the Team collaborates with the Georgia Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (GACTE) and the Georgia Association of Independent Colleges of Teacher Education (GAICTE) for the continued improvement of educator preparation in Georgia.
